WHAT LIFE IS NOT ABOUT

The way a man views life is the way he lives it

Life generally means different meanings to different people. This is the reason why we live in the same world, but we are not living the same life. The application of life holistically is not appealing to many due to the nature of man. The mind of man is primarily wired by itself, not by the creator (God), but by himself or herself with an insatiable desire for everything that we desire—the desire to have this and that for ourselves. As it happened in the time of Eve and Adam, the first mankind

Genesis 3:1:6 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

However, the choices we make in life and our understanding of the true nature of life can simply be traced to the applicable purpose of our actions and the reason for our living which connote with the process of living in our daily life, as it’s related to lifestyles, our beliefs, our relationship with other people, on what we desire to have, what we aspire to become in life, who and those we desire to be with, where we desire to be, to eat, to wear, to drink, to read, to see, to say, or sing, to give, to receive, to serve and to be served, etc. Actually speaking, no doubt has a significant role in life and also tells and shows more of the type of person.

Men have told themselves some lies and they have been living on these lies. I don’t know where you belong or where you stand on this, but as you read this piece, I’d like you to honestly read and ask yourself the honest question if what l am dishing to you is true or false. As l have quoted earlier, How a person views life, is the way the person is living it. In other words, the rest is up to you. Many lies have been settled and accepted by man, Many true things aren’t being told, in assured fact if we take time to ruminate on some of the things I will mention as they happen in our life, or in the life of anyone around either dead, alive, or yet to come, as it is based on the activities of life and the applicable things applied to it in the real sense of it within the stipulated time life without missing a word we can tentatively figure it out the truth of it in real life.

Come to think of it, reasonably and sensibly, is there anyone or anything that exists a human or animal that has breath that can achieve everything and access everywhere in this planet’s world in a his or her lifetime?

I have heard people say they have travelled around the world. I have heard and seen people say they have done everything, either by doing a particular thing they desire to do and succeeding in doing it, which makes them happy, or in their chosen career, in their professions, in their talents, their heavenly gift, etc. Through these, they became famous, celebrities, achievers, successful, great, wealthy, and connected. Good, very good. That’s true and awesome. I have seen them happy with their lives. However, I would like to point out to anyone reading this that, despite the possibility that they might be able to exploit every activity associated with life, no man can exploit every occurring activity found within a living organism. You may have the ability to exploit some, but no man can exploit them all.

Let me break it down a bit. Life is a time; that is why we call it a lifetime. Every living being has a set time that each of us is going to spend on earth, regardless of how we live our lives and what we engage our lives with. This has nothing to do with who your religion is, who you are, or what you choose to serve. Even if you don’t believe in God, which was even the worst-case scenario, that is another message in that worst-case scenario. Let me tailor my point like this: when you or anyone says they have done or achieved everything in life or say they have had experience with everything that exists in life, that statement is true, but at the same time, as far as the existence of life is concerned and the reality of humanity is concerned based on the authenticity of the capability of man, no man, I repeat can do, or achieve everything that exists within a lifetime.

Even though we strive for it, we go for it, we hustle for it, we labor and sweat for it, and we can even get to it and, in it, get involved as well. Above all this, whether for the good, for the bad, or for the ugly, whichever one or ways it happened or how we may have experienced it in our lifetime or how life may have dished out to us, we should bear in mind that we can or we only have or access the one within our reach. The one we have the opportunity and the grace to experience in our lifetime. No one can have everything that exists in his or her lifetime; we can only have the ones that are within our reach. Life as it were is not about these

1. Life is not about doing it all.

2. Life is not about knowing it all.

3. Life is not about seeing it all.

4. Life is not about saying it all.

5. Life is not about winning it all.

6. Life is not about having it all.

7. Life is not about being there all the time.

8. Life is not about meeting them all.

9. Life is not about eating or drinking.

10. Life is not about wearing it all.

11. Life is not about singing it all.

12. Life is not about reading it all.

13. Life is not about spending it all.

14. Life is not about pleasing them all.

15. Life is not about enjoying it all.

16. Life is not about suffering it all.

17. Life is not about dying for them all.

18. Life is not about hearing it all.

19. Life is not about attending to it all.

20. Life is not about receiving it all.

21. Life is not about using it or them all.

22. Life is not about reason at all.

23. Life is not about hating it or them all

24. Life is not about living it all

To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2

The two scripture passages are an indication that points out the direction of my elucidation. The Ecclesiastes talk about the time and the season we have been given to live while we are alive and the season at which we would attend, achieve, attain, or experience some particular thing in our lifetime. This is peculiar to us as it negates the process of time for the purposes and for the reason for which such things take place or happen in our lives as it relates to God’s plans, God’s will, and above all, God’s purpose for our life in our lifetime as it has been designed and destiny to us.

Romans 12 Talks about not being conformed with the world, but instead being transformed with the renewing mind, this also validates the point of my elucidation and reality that no matter who we think we are, no matter the types of life experience we had or may have, or we would have, we must bear in mind as well as understanding it that God is good all the time and in all things  He knows about anything and everything that is going on as we conceive it, and to receive also will come from Him at the appropriate time of life, this will happen at exact perfect will and time of God.

The highlighted point can be taken as an explanation that will give us a better understanding of the irony, attributes, and mystery of life as a whole. The point is that no matter who you are, what you have achieved or aspire to have, the place you have been to or acquired to be, things you have acquired or desire to acquire, the food you may have eaten or tasted to eat, whatever the types of things you have drank or are still planning to drink in life, the clothes, the shoes, pieces of jewelry, cars, planes you have flown with or own, or plan to fly with to anywhere anytime in the globe, whatever you have said or are still going to say, as long as you’re living, the book you read, still reading, or still going read, degree, etc. Anything doable, reasonable, positive, negative, achievable all this is possible, and it comes with life activities as well as events of life at the particular time of life. Note this within the confines of your lifetime. in other words, and in a simple term. No man or woman can get to do everything that exists in life in his or her lifetime.

Show me a man or woman who has traveled all over the world. l will tell you that they only and can only travel to some part of the countries in the world. No man has the capacity nor the ability to do that, Only God can travel around the world for He knows the world better than anyone and He knows every existing human being He made and where they’re.

Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. Isaiah 66:8

Show me the man or woman who says or claims to have attended, visited, given, spoken, read preached, reached, drunk, eat, worn, shoes, clothes, etc. spoken, read, spoken, danced, fought, left, driven, fly, spent, met with, teach, sit, stand, received, etc. everything that exists in life during his or her lifetime. And l tell you that, that is not so, they may sincerely do or experience these in their life, but the reality and the true nature of life is there’s no MAN can do or reach everything that exists in a lifetime, rather we can only say or boast of the one we do, attend, attain, and achieved which ultimately within our capacity and reached within the period and the time frames of our lifetime. There are places, and things that truly and naturally exist before you’re born and in life, and will still exist after that you, that you can’t possibly do or reached in life. This is what is not all about.

The bottom line and the truth of the matter is that no matter what, no one—I repeat, no one can live beyond or above God’s plan for their lives, yet if we are not careful, we can live below or not measure up to God’s plans or will for our life while chasing what is not meant for us to chase or to achieve. instead, we should rather do our very best while living, and accept the free and the goodwill, of God as it’s come from the perfect will of Him to see us through our lifetime. Do the one we can within our reach that brings Glory to our Lord, and that teaches and preaches God’s goodness in repentance and reconciliation through the redemption of Christ’s love for the world and the saint at large.

5.But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. 6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 9 Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me: 10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.  2 Timothy 5:9

Life is not above doing or having it all. it’s about God in all and God for all.

This is why, at times, our desires antagonize God’s desires. The moment we begin to keep what we do not want rather than what we do not have, we become complacent.

God bless and favor you; may all our lives and desires conform to God’s will for our lives.

You’re Bless in the name of the Lord Amen.

Shalom.
